Harlequin Rugby Club, better known as "Quins”, was formed in 1928 and is one of Melbourne’s leading clubs offering a complete rugby club environment from Under 6 to Senior ‘Premier’ Division rugby.

Boasting the competition’s premier playing and social club facilities, Quins prides itself on playing attacking rugby with a strong club spirit producing a successful and enjoyable atmosphere for both players and supporters alike. New players and supporters are welcome at any stage of the season and it would be great to have you as a Harlequin in 2010.

Welcome to Camberwell Sports & Spinal Medicine

We would like to welcome Amy Walsh from Camberwell Sports & Spinal Medicine who are providing valuable physiotherapy services to our players.

Apart from providing hands on (so to speak) assistance, Amy has prepared material which provides players (or anyone else for that matter) helpful instructions on the way that they should manage many of the types of injury that rugby players sustain on the playing field.  The information is attached for you to download.

Temporary relocation of VRU premises

The VRU is relocating its Offices on the coming weekend 27th to 28th June.  The building currently occupied by the VRU is subject to a redevelopment project. The VRU will be housed in temporary accommodation for  approximately nine months before establishing its headquarters in the new Melbourne Rectangular Stadium when completed in March 2010.

Club Memorabilia

The collation and cataloguing of items of memorabilia continues.  The second display “The Club Rebuilds – 1947 – 1959” is currently in the Clubrooms.  Your comments and suggestions are welcome.
