A disapointing result at Souths, with the team givng a lacklustre performance against a committed Souths team. Running into a breeze, Quins played steady rugby to lead 5 nil at the half through a smart piece of Pick N Go work from Maciu Vosa.

In the 2nd half, Souths hit back early with a try early from a chip kick, followed on by another try from a Quins error in our own 30m to see Quins trailing 10-5. Quins dominated field position throughout the 2nd half, but last passes went atray and lack of any clean breaks from backs proved costly in the end.

Quins hit the lead with 8 minutes to go with a charge down try from a strong powerful Quins try causing confusion in the Souths ranks. Wiuth the coversion succesful, QUins led 12-10 with 10 minutes to play. Unfortunately, lack of composure gave Souths field position and with 4 minutes to go they scored the winning try.

3 pts - Chris Grelis

2 pts - Steve Johnson

1 pts - Aaron 'Frog' Hammond
