Running into a stiff breeze, Quins started well with Mic Iosefo scoring in the first 3 minutes of the game from close range after solid set up work from the forwards. The team was reved before the game, and the 2nd try was on the board not long after from a sweeping backline movement of good erly passes that say Jay Graham use his explosive pace to score in the corner. Footscray them fought back with the aid of the strong wind and senseless infringements from QUINS to score a soft try through the centre of the ruck. Just before half time, we hit back with a smart lineout move that saw FONZ dive over from close range.

Turning with the wind in the 2nd half and having a 17-7 lead, Quins strarted very well with a smart dart down the blind by Brendan Goodwin and Aaron 'Frog' Hammond to see Tim Kombo score. This was followed by another 3 tries throughout the half, a 2nd to FONZ, Frog got over after some smart work from John Iosefo and the tries was finished off by old man Bryan Netzler getting over the line as a substitute.

A far better effort by the team this week, but the true measure of the team will be found next week when they meet Moorabbin who have been the compeition form team to date.
