The Denis Crawford Cup at Bowral Golf Club
The numbers are now in for the Denis Crawford Cup and the weekend promises to be even better than last year. For the cup itself New South Wales and Melbourne Quins will be fielding teams of eight and the competition looks as if it will be close. It can't be closer than last year when Melbourne won by one stableford point in over four hundred!
As you know the event will take place on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October at the Bowral Golf Club. For those of you who may not have seen the details of the weekend before I have repeated the details from previous newsletters below.
To assist us with the catering can you please let us know if anyone requires vegetarian food. You can email me, David Bray or Jeff Naylor but please do so as soon as possible (email contacts are shown below).
The table below shows the list of attendees which is unlikely to change much before the weekend. However if you are aware of someone who wishes to come and is not on the list let us know as soon as possible.At the moment I can only count seven DCC team members for NSW but I think Jeff said there were definitely eight. I'm sure it will all work out on the day!
A few members of the Victorian DCC Team are heading off to Hope Island for a week of golf prior to playing in the DCC. We will either be totally stuffed or playing stunning golf to make sure that the DCC remains in its rightful Melbourne home (on my mantelpiece).
NOTE: We have stocks of the official DCC caps and we would like to see all team members wearing the cap. They are on sale from Jeff Naylor at $20.00 each so if you don't have one already please see Jeff Naylor at Bowral. Non DCC team members are welcome to buy them as well.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE DATE OF THE ROSEBUD COUNTRY CLUB GOLF DAY HAS BEEN CHANGED TO SUNDAY 22ND NOVEMBER, 2009
We plan to finish the year at the ever popular Flinders Golf Club. After the golf we plan to have a Christmas BBQ (catered for by the Flinders Golf Club) at the club house. The Flinders Golf Club makes an ideal setting for a few drinks and a BBQ so mark your diaries to make sure that we are able to finish the year on a high note.
